Barenia Leather

Barenia is a premium grade calf leather. The original leather used for Hermes saddles and still in use by them today. It has a smooth, flawless matte finish which will darken as it takes on other oils developing a lovely patina over time.

Due to the tanning process small scratches can simply be rubbed away with your fingers.

The tanning process involves double tanning the leather in chrome and vegetable dyes and then the skins are soaked in a mixture of nine different oils over a 5 week period.

Zermatt Leather

Zermatt is a famous leather by Tanneries Haas in France who have been producing luxury leathers since 1842. 

A top grade, chrome tanned, smooth, matte calfskin leather that is made specially for use as a lining leather, due to its superior water resistance, scratch resistance, hypoallergenic properties and being supremely soft to the touch.
