The Horween leather company was founded in 1905 in Chicago, USA. This family-run business is now in its fifth generation. The company is one of the top leather producers in the world and has been for over a century. Sourcing only the best hides, whilst using secret tried and tested Horween family practices to treat them.
Taking 89 separate processes and 28 days to produce a single batch of Chromexcel it is characterized by a rich ‘pull up’ effect meaning that when stretched and flexed, the oils move around causing changes in tone and colour.
